In the role of team lead, I - Spearheaded development of a high-performance fleet management system for database hosts to execute repeatable workflows at scale (900 DB clusters, 6k+ database hosts, 15+ datacenters) - Built a robust observation framework that took 5 million observations/day and auto-remediated drifts saving 100s of man-hours/week - Designed & developed an orchestration service for backup & restores of 100s of Salesforce DBs in AWS. ~2PB of de-duped backups/day - Design & development of mass-restores of multi-TB oracle databases in AWS and Salesforce data-centers. In the role of team lead, I - Led development of a feature to do live inspection of very large files (log files, archives). Founding engineer that built Anomaly Detection for ICS(Industrial Control Systems) product from the ground up. It would passively listen to network traffic flowing in modern Industrial Control Systems and build a pattern baseline of network and application layer data. This baseline was used to identify anomalous behavior that may indicate an attack which is presented to user for investigation and remediation. In the role of team lead, - I envisioned & developed a real-time and adaptive algorithm to model application’s state transitions (granted US Patent #10050987) - In addition to development, I also represented the group in customer beta program visit at Chevron HQ and provided essential support during TOIs - Research & development of quick identification & deep packet inspection of widely used industrial protocols like Modbus, CIP, DNP3 etc.
