The data reported within the dashboard is available on a hourly, daily, monthly, and on an annual level for clients to make long term and short term investment decisions simultaneously.• As a part of the Clean Energy Procurement (CEP) team, I took the ownership to develop the corporate renewable contracts dashboard (Power BI based) which tracks key renewable energy purchase agreements made by commercial and Industrial (C&I) across 79 markets in order to satisfy their short term and long term sustainability commitments. Since its inception in the second quarter 2022, the dashboard has seen great interest from corporates and captive consumers alike.• Lead the energy market forecasting and modelling effort for South Asia by developing realistic models on PLEXOS and developing futuristic trends based on clients needs and scenarios. While leading this effort, I took the initiative to attend exclusive training sessions on advanced modelling using PLEXOS in an effort to improvise the model structure. In the course of my effort, I was responsible for reducing the model runtime from 32 hours to 2.5 hours.• Developed market dashboards for Sri Lanka and Bangladesh using Microsoft Power BI to track short-term market fundamentals such as demand, supply, market prices, cost of generation, and fuel prices.• Responded to client queries on short-term and long-term market trends, backed by factual and derived data from multiple sources. Data for this analysis was obtained from a corrosion test rig at NRCan.• Suggested inclusion of HAYNES 282 as an alternative to Inconel 740 in the 10 MWe system to achieve higher turbine inlet conditions and smaller material losses due to corrosion.• Modelled a standalone minimum pipe thickness calculator using Microsoft Excel Macro for 10 potential pipe materials for every pipe segment in the 10 MWe & 250 kWth system. Standard pipe sizes needed for each segment was determined.• With estimates obtained from a prominent pipe supplier, pipe economic analysis was performed, taking into account different materials and standard sizes.• Used SolidWorks 2019 & Fusion 360 to model pipe segments between turbomachinery, with a primary motive to indicate variations in pipe thickness.• Published literature titled “Material selection schematic for piping in sCO2 applications” to aid future associates.• Created detailed Engineering drawings & condensed Bill of Materials (BOM) from data received from different teams.
