Standard pipe sizes needed for each segment was determined.• With estimates obtained from a prominent pipe supplier, pipe economic analysis was performed, taking into account different materials and standard sizes.• Used SolidWorks 2019 & Fusion 360 to model pipe segments between turbomachinery, with a primary motive to indicate variations in pipe thickness.• Published literature titled “Material selection schematic for piping in sCO2 applications” to aid future associates.• Created detailed Engineering drawings & condensed Bill of Materials (BOM) from data received from different teams.
