Thesis: Nano-Electro-Mechanical Switch (NEMS) For Ultra-Low Power Portable Embedded Devices Designing a NEMS that offers virtually zero leakage current, low operating voltage (1-1.2 V), High switching speeds (1-1.2ns) and footprint size. Thesis work emphasizes on modeling CNEMS controllers and systems by analyzing the physical parameters involved in the functioning of switch.

Training phase involved rapid understanding of every sub-systems and related concepts of a CT Scanner (Image Processing, Front and Back end S/W coding, X-Ray generation, FPGA design and testing, Data Management, etc). Responsibilities included,• Coordinating the synchronization of Design and Test Modules of sub-systems of the CT Scanner• Tested new software builds for the CT Scanner• Supervised the Defect Management Systems for Scanner• Verification and Validation of defects from various disciplines• Calibration of various scans (Cardiac, Thoracic, Pulmonary, Brain, etc) to required levels of efficiency

Collaborated with multiple project-teams to undertake a wide range of responsibilities over various areas of Design and Test of time-critical projects in the field of Embedded Software and Analog Hardware. Completed tasks like,- Designed and Simulated the following VHDL modules in an FPGA which served as the core of a High Performance Multi-Meter,o Trigger Modelo Finite State Machine o Status Modelo Test Bench, etc. - Designed a ring oscillator circuit which served as a verification chip for a Silicon Wafer test machine. - Extensively tested a native Instrument script Programmer on a LUA platform over Source & Measure Units, Amplifiers and Waveform generators. - Automated measurement capabilities of various test instruments using Visual Basic meant designed for calibration.
