Spacecord is a non-profit student organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged and government school students by fostering a passion for STEM education. With a presence in two Indian states ( Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu), Spacecord has built a network of over 150 dedicated volunteers and has reached more than 3000 students in the past year. Our mission is to bridge the education gap for government school students by way of interactive and engaging "concept" workshops in regional languages, helping students find their passion and pursue careers in STEM fields. By providing hands-on learning and interactive sessions we aim to inspire the next generation of Indian innovators and problem-solvers from all backgrounds.

The Invention Factory is an intensive summer program, in US and India, focused on 'Prototyping, Pitching, and Patenting' groundbreaking inventions. Over six weeks, students develop patentable solutions for real-world problems.• Best Invention Winner (1st Prize) at Invention Factory 2024, IIT Jammu.• Selected among the top 60 students across India to participate in the program at IIT Jammu, Bombay, and Gandhinagar; assigned to the IIT Jammu site.• Invented the Multi-Drug Injector, a purely mechanical drug injection apparatus designed for medical professionals treating conditions such as diabetes, hypoglycemia, dental issues, cosmetic treatments, anesthesia, certain heart conditions, and trauma cases. The device allows precise dosing, variable mixing ratios, and effective drug mixing through built-in channels and a specialized membrane, crucial for applications requiring multiple rapid and accurate drug administration.• Filed a provisional patent application with both the Indian Patent Office and the US Patent Office.

Worked on a swarm-based UAV corridor project at the Mobile Robotics Lab (MRL), designing and fabricating UAV subsystems and structures using advanced techniques such as machine learning, topology optimization, and generative design. Enhanced subsystem performance through CAD, CFD, and FEM, utilizing the Numerical Homogenization Technique. Gained hands-on experience with Pixhawk and other UAV avionics. Employed 3D printing with materials like glass PLA and ABS, specializing in SLS, SLA, and FDM techniques for prototype production.

Restored an electric shuttle vehicle that was completely disassembled, bringing it back to full operational capacity as part of a Sustainability and Green Energy Project. Integrated and tested multiple solar energy system configurations for photovoltaic (PV) characterization, and developed smart switching mechanisms for seamless solar-electric hybrid functionality. Implemented Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithms to optimize energy extraction from PV modules under varying conditions. Enhanced vehicle performance, charging efficiency, and aerodynamics through design optimization. Gained proficiency in scientific computing and data handling to analyze system performance and sustainability metrics.
