BusinessClass.com offers a meta search engine and online travel agency for flights and accommodation, supported by original editorial content with a special focus on premium travel deals. Unlike other search sites, BusinessClass.com is dedicated to the premium segment. We are targeting luxury travel consumers who fly in premium cabins and stay in only the finest hotels & resorts. The search experience will be specially curated to this segment, filtering away the din of platforms developed for the mass market.My job at BusinessClass.com is to write, commission and publish all the content that appears on the site - including hotel and airline reviews, news and features. I have over thirty years’ experience in journalism – news and documentary programming – print, online, radio and television. My career started in the early 1990s writing for my University newspaper. I then sold articles to The Guardian and Daily Mail. After University, I freelanced for The Sunday Times, TODAY, BBC Newsroom South East, GMTV (now GMB) and Channel 4 News among others. I was awarded a BBC National News Traineeship in 1992. I became the first BBC news “video journalist” – while working on Business Breakfast. I then went on to present BBC World Business and Business Breakfast. In 1998, I launched a radio show - “On the Money” on Talk Radio - for Bloomberg (London) where I was also a television news anchor. This was followed by the launch of my own business in 2000 called The Luxury Travel Show, later rebranded as Inside Luxury Travel – which still airs in over 100 countries and airlines to an audience of 650 million. I wrote for several magazines and newspapers – including The Daily Telegraph – and edited a luxury spa brand magazine for the delicious Ligne St Barth. I suffered an accident while filming in Vietnam in 2015 from which I am now fully recovered. For relaxation I play golf and tennis.
