The Country Fire Authority (CFA) is responsible for all regional fire management within Victoria and comprises approximately 50,000 volunteers, 1,200 staff and 200 brigades. I have been engaged to establish a strategy and implement enhancements to CFA’s People & Culture technology and services capabilities.

As Assistant Director - Global Travel & Expense, I had global responsibility for Corporate Travel, Aviation, Credit Card & Expense, including direct oversight for shared services in the Philippines, multiple global BPO contracts and the corporate aircraft in Detroit. Top achievements: • Consolidated Travel, Expense & Corporate Card service lines under a new operating model, enablingefficient end-to-end delivery of travel & expense services and a customer satisfaction score of 4.7.• In partnership with Treasury, renegotiated the global Citi credit card contract, increasing GM’s rebate and restructuring the agreement to reduce risk.• Won a GM Operational Excellence Award for facilitating leadership discussions and negotiatingagreements to deliver $60 million in verified and approved savings over 3 years.• Identified need & established support for a Virtual Card Account project that enabled the use of virtualcredit cards for invoice payments.• Redesigned and deployed simplified global travel & expense policy.

As Global Transformation Lead - Travel & Expense, I was asked to lead a new key strategic area for GBS, which involved the transformation of Global Travel & Expense. Top achievements: • Successfully reduced the Travel & Expense operating expenditure and improved the customer experience. • Defined the end-to-end Travel & Expense customer journey.• Implemented an enhanced operating model enabled by end-to-end technology, global corporate card agreements and our shared services capabilities.• Deployed Net Promotor Score (NPS) service line monitoring and identified customer experienceopportunities.

Leading a global team of 12, with team members in Germany, USA, Brazil and Australia, my team partnered with global leaders to understand, plan and prioritise all global HR projects and operational changes. My team also led the delivery of key high-impact projects and assisted with the deployment of HR to a shared services model.

In this role, I partnered with global HR Centres of Excellence to define, prioritise, and implement continuous improvement and business transformation initiatives for HR. In addition, I was a member of the HR Transformation team identifying work to be migrated to a shared services environment.
