Perspectif offers Android optimization services for improving developer productivity and infrastructure efficiency. We have been providing our rich, native Android expertise, as well as assisting with DevOps and infrastructure to high profile, enterprise banking partners. Working with languages such as Kotlin, Python, Groovy while operating in stacks that feature Android, Gradle Enterprise, Jenkins, and AWS amongst others, we have been focused on ensuring our clients' confidence in their commitment to performance, reliability, and quality of their products is unwavering.

At Zaglab, I have had great opportunities to work with various technologies with different clients. As primarily an Android consultant, some of the projects I worked on include building a low latency, RTSP player app; a greenfield, bluetooth centric app with features such as data encryption, location services, cloud communication (Firebase); providing UI and performance maintenance for an existing consumer app; adding new features to an open source Bluetooth LE library. Additionally, I've provided other non-Android specific services, such as: building web projects using React, Vue, and Typescript; architecting a Firebase backend; writing a Microsoft Office add-in; setting up a private Gitlab + Gitlab CI/CD server via Docker; writing suites of automation tests in Python for low level automotive centric firmware; designing a protocol via the use of Protocol Buffers for optimized CLI communication; experimenting with cross platform frameworks such as React Native and Flutter.

While at KPDi, I mainly worked on building an Android companion app to a wearable bluetooth fitness tracker from the ground up. My tasks ranged from shaping UI screens, data synchronization between different layers of the application, optimizing threading via RxJava, writing unit and instrumentation tests, maintaining a clean architecture, reviewing pull requests and cutting releases. I've worked with technologies like Realm, Couchbase, Bluetooth Low Energy, and Databinding.

My task at Fuse was to help maintain and add new features to a mobile gaming monetization and analytics SDK, specific to the Android ecosystem. I successfully helped integrate various third party ad providers as well as some IAB standards into our SDK, such as MRAID and VAST support. I've written various test apps to demonstrate specific SDK features internally and to our ad partners, including putting significant effort into redesigning the main test harness used by our QA department. While at Fuse, I also was a part of the social committee that organized fun networking events for the employees.

Our goal at Serious Business Group was to provide a bridge between creative people and the early iterations of the mobile market, through our software project - Live Wallpaper Creator. Our vision was to eliminate the complexities of programming for our target audience, and to provide them with complete freedom of creation that could ultimately be monetized and distributed across the mobile world. As a co-founder, my tasks ranged from product design, early app prototypes, video production, forum setup and maintenance, contractor hiring/management, integrations of advertising SDKs, testing, app publishing.As an Android developer for this project, I spearheaded research and integration of a popular gaming library - LibGDX. With this SDK, we were able to break previously platform imposed limits, and design an engine that offered significantly more customization to the user while improving performance on the device.

At Bad Boss Entertainment, as a co-founder and Android developer, my main accomplishments were creating intricate live wallpaper applications and monetizing them via various advertising SDKs. I developed a unique live wallpaper engine that would animate sequences of SVG frames that were previously vectorized from their raster versions. On top of applying a unique effect, this engine allowed us to bypass memory limits that would otherwise cause the apps to crash had they used raster sequences. Published apps totalled over 2 million downloads on Google Play.

Worked with users to assist with usage of company digital recording software, often troubleshooting and ensuring the users' questions were not left unanswered. Heavily involved in software and hardware testing while communicating the results to the development team. Provided a technical perspective of the product during demonstrations for potential clients. Performed minor scripting and wrote various user guides for the product.
