I made the transition from my research career to the intellectual property. I am pleased about my transition and the association with Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan, Attorneys, Delhi India. At present I am relocated to Bronx, New York, United States and working as an Independent consultant with Double Helix Law (MannyV IP) and with AMP Biotech Research. My present role allows me to learn more about US patent laws and contribute as a technical specialist. While with AMP Biotech Research I am getting involved with the dynamic market investment research for Biotech companies. I am a registered patent agent in India and have an experience of drafting and prosecuting biotech related patent applications. I have also handled prosecution of US and EP patent applications. I like to be updated with recent research as well as with the patent legalities that would eventually help in providing a better quality of work.Completed MSc. in Biotechnology from Pondicherry University and my Ph.D. in life sciences from CSIR - Institute of Microbial Technology. I have experience of working with the bacterial system and specialized in bacterial pathogenesis especially of nosocomial pathogens. Optimized different gene cloning mechanisms and have experience in protein expression and purification studies. During Ph.D. we have performed different analysis for delineating functions of the protein participating in two-component signal transduction system.
