As a Coordinator and Research Assistant for the 2023 Adaptation Futures conference, I played a key role in curating and communicating critical insights on climate change adaptation across both global and Canadian contexts. My responsibilities included drafting comprehensive background materials and reports as well as synthesizing academic research, policy documents, and case studies into digestible content tailored for a diverse audience of policymakers, researchers, and community leaders.Additionally, I facilitated coordination between local community adaptation leaders and the conference organizers, streamlining communications and ensuring the smooth execution of ‘learning journeys’—field-based educational experiences that highlighted real-world adaptation initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement Researcher | Professor Adriane McDonald at Concordia University, I engaged in detailed research and analysis of policy plans that intersected climate governance, climate change mitigation, and corporate stakeholder involvement. My primary focus was on exploring the dynamics between business, government, and non-profit organizations in forming partnerships to tackle sustainability challenges.I conducted qualitative coding of corporate climate policy plans, evaluating the depth and effectiveness of stakeholder engagement, as well as analyzing the impact and value of various strategies and commitments outlined in these plans.
