Responsible for fostering a culture of Continuous Improvement and Total Quality Management (TQM) within a plant comprising approximately 260 permanent employees and 270 contract workers. My responsibilities include:1. Implementing 5S Methodology: - Strategizing 5S implementation using the 6-Pillar Approach (ABK-AOTS Model) through various trainings, Gemba Walks, Internal and External audits and Field Visits. - Developing internal auditors and managing internal audits. - Introducing innovative 5S engagement techniques like RRR (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) and '5S Hour.'2. Executing TQM Initiatives: - Collaborating closely with process champions (Idea, Kaizen, OPL, SGA, and Six-Sigma) to execute tasks according to the Coromandel TQM Framework. - Quantifying TQM achievements in terms of both monetary and non-monetary benefits, resulting in the highest ever unit TQM Savings (Rs.10+ Crores) recorded for FY23. - Coordinating 5S Month and Quality Month events. - Creating employee awareness on TQM principles, 7 QC tools, SGA, and Six-Sigma (DMAIC) methodologies through comprehensive training sessions. - Ensuring alignment with standards (TQM, 5S, and Standardization Manuals) to achieve 100% adherence. - Engaging with various TQM process review committees and ensuring that 'Rewards & Recognition (R&R)' are distributed to deserving employees as per the R&R policy. - Supporting team members to participate in external competitions and forums. - Monitoring TQM performance and driving efforts to improve the plant's TQM Score. - Conducting TQM Steering Committee Meetings and providing support in strategic decision-making. - Assisting in TQM Digital Data Center (DDC) activities."
