Computer Aided Design Engineer
Current➢Detailed Design: Develop detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for mechanical components, systems, or products. Ensure designs meet performance, safety, and manufacturability requirements.➢CAD Modeling: Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) to create 2D and 3D models of parts and assemblies. Validate designs through simulations and analysis if necessary.➢Material Selection: Select appropriate materials for components based on factors such as strength, durability, cost, and environmental considerations.➢Prototyping: Collaborate with prototyping teams to create physical prototypes and conduct testing to validate design concepts and iterate as needed.➢Manufacturing Support: Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure that designs can be manufactured efficiently and cost-effectively. Resolve design-related issues that may arise during production.➢Design Validation: Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and tests to validate the design's performance, safety, and reliability.➢Documentation: Maintain comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), design specifications, and reports.➢Design Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities for design improvement, cost reduction, and performance enhancement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement design changes.➢Compliance: Ensure that designs adhere to industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.➢Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve design-related problems and challenges as they arise during the development process.➢Project Management: Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and project milestones.
