Prepare the strategy for packaging (returnable/expandable) D&D, trial & approval of the packaging, drive on tangible & intangible cost optimizations, negotiate cost with suppliers, considering all the touch points in the value chain, also prepare make or buy decisions. Preparing the facilities required for receiving, storage, and line feeding material handling equipment’s for logistics operations. Finalize the line feeding strategies based on the Best Value Option Analysis (BVOA), and implementation of Just In sequence, Just in Time, Kitting, Manual/E Kanban, Pull systems. Planning & installing the required facilities for the warehouse & line feeding operations like – Line side racks, forklifts, BOPT, Line feeding carts, Internal handling Bins & Containers, Dock levelers, High Bay racks & tuggers. Planning of resources for the logistics operations – head count calculation, and head count optimization through process flow optimization, time study, waste elimination. Have made E2E Logistics network architecture for the CKD process flow, including the packaging design & container stuffing patter optimization.

 Responsible for making a cost saving from the present spending’s of the export packaging, and has a backup plan for the next year also.  Responsible for the Design, Development, validation and cost settlement with TACO’s supplier for the packaging of export business orders.  Supporting the new RFQ’s from the overseas by estimating the cost of packaging which should have back up of Packaging Schematic and Bill of material of packaging.  Conducting audit at the adherence of TACO’s packaging standards at supplier’s works and conducting audit at their Packaging material supplier’s factory & validating the supplier.  Work out a packaging solution for the customers to whom TACO provides a Packaging services, and do work as business developer to add more customers for Packaging services hence add more revenue.
