I am a Research Associate at BioNTech SE, a leading biotechnology company that develops novel immunotherapies for cancer and infectious diseases. In my current role, I am involved in assay development using ddPCR and Immuno dotblot techniques, which are essential for measuring RNA expression and protein levels in biological samples.Before joining BioNTech SE, I worked as a Medical Technologist at CENTOGENE, where I processed, analyzed, and interpreted biological samples using advanced techniques such as RT-PCR and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS). I have over three years of experience in this role, and I am passionate about understanding the scientific mechanisms underlying various disorders and diseases that impact the environment and human health. I have also gained valuable skills in quality control and assurance, data management, and customer service. My career journey started in the chemical and waste management sector, where I learned how to identify contaminants, treat solid waste, and extract solvents. However, I realized that my true interest lies in biotechnology and the health care sector, where I can apply my analytical lab skills to make a positive difference in the world. That is why I pursued a Master's degree in Biotechnology and joined organizations that share my vision and values.
