I am currently the Head of Communications at AMA - Agência para a Modernização Administrativa, IP, Portugal. I am also a Researcher at the Instituto de Telecomunicações, Portugal. I was a Professor and Cisco Instructor at the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco, Portugal. I have over 20 years of expertise.My academic journey commenced with a five-year B.Sc. degree in Informatics Engineering from the University of Coimbra, Portugal, followed by the attainment of a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Beira Interior, Covilhã, Portugal.My contributions to the field include over 100 papers in esteemed journals, book chapters, and conferences, alongside 2 patents. I actively contribute to the academic community as an editorial board member, reviewer, and guest editor for various international journals. Moreover, I am dedicated to fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange as an organizer, technical program committee member, and reviewer for national and international conferences.My involvement in national and European research projects, particularly focusing on vehicular networks and Internet of things, underscores my commitment to driving impactful research outcomes.
