I have a degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Molecular Biomedicine, I come from academia where I worked as a researcher in the Neuroendocrinology and Aging Group of the Center for Neurosciences and Cell Biology at the University of Coimbra, led by the vice dean for research, Dr. Claudia Cavadas. I have laboratory skills that include various molecular biology techniques, microscopy, cell culture and many others described in my CV, however I specialized in Bioinformatics, statistics and data analysis. In these last two years of the pandemic, I also worked as a laboratory technician at the Clinical Analysis Laboratory of the University of Coimbra, where I was responsible for carrying out all the laboratory procedures necessary for the testing of SARS-CoV 2 as well as the maintenance of the laboratory (Level 3 of Biosafety). In September of 2022, I will move to Lisbon so I am currently exploring the job offers in the region.
