With over 20 years of Investment Banking experience in Global Financial Institutions, half of which abroad, I have had the pleasure to coordinate Multi Cultural and Multi Disciplinary teams across different geographies to deliver bespoke solutions to Iberia’s largest Corporations. Throughout my career I have covered almost the entire spectrum of Investment Banking products and services both as product specialist as well as product sales. From Equity to Debt, including Equity Research, Structured Finance and Debt Capital Markets, and working closely with Large and Mid Cap CEOs, CFOs and Finance Directors, I have helped i) raise more than €40bn across multiple products. From major privatisations and IPOs, to landmark Project and Leveraged Finance deals, to leading Iberian League tables for Corporate Bonds (both Senior, Hybrid and Green); ii) protect cash flows and balance sheet through bespoke hedging solutions and iii) optimise and maintain cash positions while minimising negative carry through Liability Management and more complex solutions.Change has been the main constant of my carrer, always driving me towards new challenges. Having helped launch the Royal Bank of Scotland franchise in Portugal I soon moved abroad to take over the entire Portuguese portfolio and later accumulated responsibility over part of the Spanish portfolio as well. During this time I have had the privilege to work with great individuals that were key in achieving and sustaining leadership across different products and league tables.
