Working as the first line of support for the UK Corrugated divisions’, Microsoft Dynamics NAV system. This includes first and second line support calls ranging from new user setup to investigating interfacing issues. Currently, this is support for version 5 and 2015.I also have the opportunity to work on any change requests, which mostly includes minor system developments and report developments. So I have development skills in both SQL and C/AL.Whatever I am faced with, I work meticulously to ensure that the best solution is produced whilst working to SLA’s.

This role was my Industrial Placement Year from my University Degree. The purpose of the role was to assist with the standardisation of business processes for several sites throughout the UK, using Microsoft Dynamics NAV version 5 as their main business application. This standardisation would then be used to develop a solution in Microsoft Dynamics NAV.In order to gather this information, I had to interview end users and document their responses. This was done using the features of OneNote to ensure the correct information was obtained. Once I had all the necessary information I would then document the business processes using Visio.When the process mapping was nearing an end, a series of workshops were started for the key business area’s including estimating, sales order processing, etc. The purpose of the workshops was to begin the standardisation of the business processes. In these workshops, I worked to ensure that the standard process produced could fit many of the businesses and ensuring that it wasn’t a complex solution.Due to my success throughout these projects, I continued to work part time, one day a week, whilst at university. This mainly involved developing reports using SSRS.
