I was responsible for the server infrastructure at Bonami and closely collaborated with my colleagues from Webglobe (formerly Stable.cz) to maintain multiple virtual servers. In 2016, we pioneered the use of Docker for development and production. Additionally, I oversaw the management of a GitLab build platform on DigitalOcean and handled all pipelines for our repositories.Later on, we replaced our internal deployment script with the Hashicorp stack, which included Consul, Nomad, and Vault. I chose this stack for its straightforward deployment process, enabling a gradual migration of services from our existing solution to Nomad.In my role, I managed several services, such as ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ Cluster, Redis (KeyDB), GitLab, MongoDB, and Nginx. Furthermore, I worked on building and maintaining a monitoring stack based on Prometheus (Thanos), Grafana, Loki, and Logstash. Additionally, I successfully handled the selection and migration to new physical servers between data centers without requesting downtime for maintenance.I balanced the usage of physical hardware and AWS for specific use cases to optimize the running costs of the entire infrastructure. All AWS deployments were managed using Terraform.In my spare time, I manage my homelab built on Kubernetes and deployed using Terraform. This allows me to explore the differences and use cases within other major ecosystems.

Throughout the years, I have made contributions to various subsystems handling finances, logistics, order management, and product management. Leveraging my extensive knowledge of internal systems, I have assisted on multiple projects whenever my expertise was required.As our development teams grew, there arose a need for someone to take over infrastructure and DevOps responsibilities. I gladly accepted the role and began balancing my work as both a developer and a DevOps engineer.

Collabim is an SEO toolkit designed for internet agencies and consultants. Its primary focus is on analyzing and recommending keywords, tracking keyword positions in various search engines, and providing SEO reporting.I worked on refactoring the previous code to ensure project stability and sustainability. Additionally, I took part in a significant project involving daily distributed keyword position calculations. I was also responsible for developing browser extensions for all major competitors. These extensions played a large role in gathering accurate data for the keyword calculations and enhancing the overall functionality of the SEO toolkit.We successfully achieved a sustainable project state with minimal interventions, and the entire team transitioned to working on Bonami.cz.Technologies used: PHP, Zend Framework, Nette, MySQL."
