Member of music industry advisor group for COVID relief discussing and creating rules and toolsfor the music industry on all levels during the pandemic.I was representing smaller independentpromoters and individual contractors like stagehands, light designer, sound engineers etc.We tried to unify the approach of the music industry in the whole country into one voicecommunicating with local authorities and politicians to help alleviate the challenges brought by thepandemic and find effective solutions from the smallest members of the industry like stagehandsand other contractors to the largest players like multifunctional arenas and international corporationson the market. This dialogue was extremely challenging and difficult on the internal levels gettingover differences and rivalries but ultimately lead convincing local authorities and politicians tocreate a supporting network robust enough to cushion the impacts of the pandemic. The result wasno major bankruptcy, layoffs and brain drain from the industry that fortunately stayed competitiveon the international level.

][ (Doublebrackets) started as a project aiming to bring new, interesting indie bands and music projects to Prague. ][ started as a duo of friends and became a one- man effort a few years after the start.We organized more than 30 events in five years, both in venues and outdoors. The main goal was always to provide small indie bands and music projects full professional service with quality promotion, graphic design, production etc. ][ was also the first initiative to bring live music back to public space and abandoned spaces. Live music production was illegal in Prague during those days and connecting music with urban exploration and site specific projections was unique.Thanks to our work we became part of an independent production network exchanging ideas and experiences all across Europe.Bands we worked with: ZU, Shining (NO), The Body, Ufomammut, UpCdownC, Flies Are Spies Of Hell, Morkobot and many more.
