Experienced in domestic and international disputes and investigations by regulatory and law enforcement authorities with a special focus on re-privatization and sanction disputes as well as investment disputes. I have been recognized by the legal market as one of the strongest lawyers in Ukraine in tax disputes.Most recent work includes representation of a foreign investor during the consideration of an arbitration dispute against Ukraine in ICSID for the amount of USD 834 mln, the successful defense of the leading industrial enterprise of non-ferrous metallurgy of Ukraine and Europe in court case over the recovery of non-pecuniary damage for a sensational amount of more than USD 328 mln, appealing against the additional accrual of tax liabilities in the amount of USD 40 mln in the interests of the owner of one of the largest office centers in Ukraine.I have a broad disputes practice with substantial experience of complex commercial, corporate and shareholder/ownership litigation, typically with an international element.Also advise and represent investors in connection with criminal investigations, at shareholders' meetings, in out-of-court disputes with authorities and in public investigations by parliamentary committees. My practice encompasses a number of industry sectors as banking, energy, non-ferrous metallurgy, gas distributing and construction.
