Responsibilities include operating the plant in compliance with Site Operating Procedures, Standing Instructions, and Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) procedures. The position also requires acting as the Area Authority within the Permit to Work system, conducting final checks, leading Toolbox Talks, identifying hazards, and ensuring permit compliance.Daily rounds are conducted to monitor facilities, log data, assess integrity threats, and ensure safe third-party operations. Additional tasks include preparing and executing isolations/de-isolations and breaking containment, verifying safety measures before releasing work, and conducting gas, NORM, and other equipment safety tests for team readiness. The role requires performing random permit audits, coordinating the production team’s daily activities, and managing routine and non-routine pump changeovers, as well as operating manifold valves for well diversions.The position also involves preparing equipment for maintenance under Senior Operator guidance, participating in emergency response drills, maintaining equipment through preventive maintenance and repairs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and adjusting process parameters to optimize production efficiency and maintain product quality standards.
