OUTLINEMy role in this position was to maintain stock control, provide mechanics with spare parts needed for repairs and overall manage operations on a cost effective basis. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Responsible for the upkeep of the warehouse (replace fast moving SKUs, store goods appropriately, update electronic data base with goods received, usage of 5s principles etc).• Involved in preparing the workshop for a formal inspection (two times) from Scania HQ regarding the DOS (Dealer Operating Standard), successfully passing and retaining the Scania dealer and workshop qualification.• Analyse economic data and maintain stock accordingly.• Compile estimate reports for vehicle repairs.• Deal with customer needs and complaints in a professional and friendly approach. • Organise dispatch of goods, schedule and plan routes for company drivers and monitor deliveries.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS/PROJECTSTook initiative and recorded the company’s overall stock (more than 5000 spare part codes) on electronic form. Also mapped each code’s position inside the warehouse for swift recovery. No similar database existed prior. After its creation it was used as a key tool by the department.

OUTLINEMy role in this position as an intern was to assist my supervisor in various logistics and health and safety issues.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• In charge of choosing, ordering, placing and testing a safety system for securing the wheel nuts of the company vehicles (liaising with suppliers, supervising installation on test vehicle, trials, suitability report).• In charge of preparing and translating documentation regarding best practices, monthly accident reports and various health and safety documents.• Liaising with business partners (contractors, drivers, distribution centers etc).KEY ACHIEVEMENTS PROJECTSInvolved in a project regarding the upgrade of the company’s cargo loading/securing and transport system (visits to the company facilities, spotting bottlenecks, delivering reports suggesting optimizations, meetings with business partners involved in the project).
