Family business. Provided IT services as well as web development whenever needed, brought a website redesign into action, and worked as a receptionist several months at a time. IT responsibilities included ensuring proper operation of front desk equipment, and proper storage and backup of company data. Web development responsibilities covered migrating website to a new design, ensuring, maintaining and adding functionality, and occasional design tweaks. Reception consisted of manning the front desk, processing customers' arrival and departure, preserving daily organization, and housekeeping to keep up salon appearance. Also involved in occasional labor - moving/cleaning/painting/basic maintenance.

Main task was to provide customer service by telephone, email, and web-based chat (sometimes simultaneously) to customers having technical problems ranging from incompatible telephone sets to plain confusion – in English and Russian. Other responsibilities included:• Receiving, testing, sorting, organizing, configuring, re-packing and shipping mobile handsets prepared for domestic and international use.• Identifying, flagging, and dealing with fraudulent registration for prepaid products.• Coordinating orders and payments with distributors/resellers.• Miscellaneous assignments: occasional printer maintenance, training new employees, adjusting website.Occasional assignments required repairing electronics, IT work, and basic programming.

IT maintenance for a highly-developed technology department spread over four elementary schools, a middle school and a high school. Responsibilities included assisting department staff on calls and in minor maintenance projects to school buildings. Also personally preformed responses to maintenance requests within the high school, as well as taking on small projects there.Took part in a summer-long overhaul replacing most high school computers. Also, as a follow-up, took part in processing old computers to be given to charity, or kept for distribution to students with no access to computers at home. This also included verification of functionality of all replaced monitors.

Front desk duty, ensuring visitors checked in and out. Data entry for first time visitors. Provided tutoring on computer and internet use for visitors in need.
