Designed custom automation equipment for testing turbochargers, burst testing oil and gas pipes, and leak testing batteries. Duties were similar to previous mechanical designer role, but with a greater focus on hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical component selection. Presented my designs to customers during design reviews. Advised applications engineers on concepts and budgets.

Designed custom automation equipment for production lines to be used in bakeries and food processing plants. Responsible for the entire design process from conception to testing on projects ranging from individual machines to entire production lines. Designs done to conform to both in-house and food industry standards related to safety and sanitation. Equipment types include conveyors, dough forming machines, container handling machines, and structural frames.
