Adapture Renewables is owned by the KIRKBI Group, the Danish family office that owns LEGO.

Responsible for strategy, finance, legal, accounting, FP&A and human resources. Ecodaptive was a start-up that built a financing & asset management platform to bridge the gap between local developers & institutional investors for distributed energy resources. We developed rooftop solar projects using leases under the Massachusetts SMART program and utilized virtual net metering to aggregate and export power for sale to investment grade customers. • Our innovative approach allowed us to work with Low to Moderate Income site hosts who do not otherwise qualify for PPA or traditional financing. • In the summer of 2021 the social justice aspect of our program was awarded an InnovateMass Grant from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center.• We secured a $300MM purchase commitment from a major investment fund in late 2021 and were engaged as the construction and asset managers. • We sold the company to The Boston Solar Company, our EPC partner, in June 2022.

Led a 9-person project finance team in structuring, negotiating and closing tax equity and debt financings on owned solar projects in North America. Led the finance department for EnSync, including accounting, FP&A, SEC compliance and project finance, in addition to legal and investor relations. Reported directly to the CEO with dotted lines to the Board and Audit Committee Chairs.• Managed a corporate finance team in Milwaukee and project finance team in San Francisco, as well as outside counsel, auditors and IR advisors. Established and staffed the structured finance team for EnSync as we worked to develop some of the first solar+storage PPAs in the US. • Led the process of drafting a bankable solar+storage PPA contract, created production and economic models acceptable to third-party engineers, and successfully closed the sale of our 6-site project portfolio in Hawaii to a third-party. This was the first arms-length sale of its kind in the US.

Led structured finance for Scatec's U.S. solar projects, reporting to the global head of structured finance in Norway. • Established U.S. financing and portfolio M&A strategies to achieve investment and shareholder return goals. • Utilized strong industry relationships to successfully structure, negotiate and close a $157 million levered partnership flip financing of a 104MW utility project with Google and Prudential Capital.

Led the HQC North America structured finance team, establishing project finance funding facilities and executing structured finance transactions for commercial and utility solar projects in U.S., Canada and Mexico. Worked closely with HQC global finance group in Germany and South Korea to establish regional structured finance strategies for executing project financings and sales of HQC-developed projects.• Negotiated and closed two sale & leaseback financings for $55 million, including a 10MW solar plant constructed on a rehabilitated Superfund site.• Led initiative to establish lender and equity relationships for project financings in Mexico and Panama.• Established execution and M&A strategies for HQC’s 50MW Puerto Rico solar project; saved HQC from material losses by identifying financing flaws and advocating to pause development spending.

Negotiated with financiers to sell completed PPAs, under multiple financing structures, on both a portfolio and one-off basis. Responsible for initiating and developing relationships with financiers and securing project funding sources, including state-specific tax equity development. • Led PPA negotiations on 14 commercial transactions representing more than 25MW of capacity. • Co-led financier negotiations for SPWR’s first-ever project portfolio sales, representing more than 14 MW of capacity with a sale value of $97 million. Purchasers were Morgan Stanley and GE EFS.
