The sculptor must possess a precision and eye – hand coordination of a surgeon when he takes the pieces of stone away and creates a shape with life and spirit out of a stone. What was an intuitive knowledge at the beginning evolved into rare skill later on, which allows me today to work on monumental sculptures (sometimes – 10 000 kg pieces) and create art works in their natural environment – parks and outdoor galleries. I feel blessed to be given this gift and wish to continue my artistic exploration as well as to teach other young sculptors this unique technique that I have developed over the years and can only be thought through doing it, demonstrations and apprenticeships. My smaller sculptures and art pieces are also recognized worldwide. Today several major cultural institutions of highest prestige have purchased my art and have exhibited it in its permanent exhibitions. Such institutions are: Republic of Bulgaria, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State Institute of Culture, Sculpture Collection; Bulgarian National Art Gallery in Sofia; the Art Gallery in Pleven, private collections in Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Serbia, Hungary, Germany, Australia, Japan, USA etc. I have had 12 individual exhibitions in Bulgaria and USA. I was selected to participate in 6 international symposiums, where participation is based on application and subsequent selection of the artist to participate. The selection is made on the basis of artistic accomplishments and potential for contribution to the specific theme of the symposium.
