The Research Team Leader leads a team of Research Managers and Analysts (internal and external) who maintain BO Fact Bases, and design and execute research projects, so that BOs have the data and insights about markets, customers, and competitors that they need to make both tactical, i.e. day to day, and strategic decisions.The Research Team Leader has extensive experience with all methods of research (primary, both quantitative and qualitative, and secondary), as well as with the capabilities of research vendors. They are also familiar enough with the processes and issues of the BOs they support, and the analytics used in the strategy development process, to plan research projects (or mining of previous research) that will deliver the right types of data and insight to the BOs so that they can make high quality, timely business decisions.
