Handled the integration of Engineering & QA function while Audco India transformed to Flowserve in March 2013, In the role as Management representative was instrumental in getting all the Quality management (ISO 9001) and Product certifications (API 6D, API 609 monogram) & Pressure equipment directive (CE marking) in the name of Flowserve India.

Leading the Engineering / R&D team for Plug valves, responsible for enhancement of New product development, Enhancement of Size range and Order engineering.With additional business opportunity from Europe, I played a key role in Engineering for increasing the business of Plug valves from US $3M in 1999 to US $30M in the financial year (2013). I did set up a virtual design office at Audco India for product design & development for Serck Audco Valves.Development involved High pressure class valves up to Class 3200 (8000 psig), special materials like Super duplex, Full bore and Full port valves, valves with Stellite and Inconel cladding. Played a key role for getting the designs approved to the pressure equipment directive PED 97/23/EC and to enable stamping the products with CE mark for Plug valvesWas instrumental in filing 7 Patents relating to enhancement of design feature in Plug valves and Valve gearbox. The patents on gear boxes are relating to ease of valve operation. The concept of three piece design in Plug valve is unique with additional benefits of online maintenance, easier machining of small end operations, modular design. Presented a paper titled “Flow analysis in Valves – Theoretical Vs Experimental” in the Valve World – 2006 conference (7-9 Nov.2006) held in Maastricht – The Netherlands. The paper was well received by the professionals in the valve industry as well as the end users & consultants who attended the conference.
