During my time as an AWS DevOps intern at SocialTek, I worked closely with the DevOps team to help deploy and maintain cloud-based infrastructure. My primary responsibilities included:Developing and maintaining automation scripts using Terraform, Ansible, and Python to manage AWS resources such as EC2 instances, S3 buckets, and RDS databases.Creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD to build, test, and deploy code changes to various environments.Setting up monitoring and logging using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana to detect and resolve issues in a timely manner.Collaborating with the development team to ensure seamless integration between code changes and deployment processes.Assisting in the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans to ensure high availability of critical applications.Key Achievements:Successfully deployed and maintained a highly available and scalable web application on AWS using EC2 instances, S3 buckets, and RDS databases.Developed automation scripts to manage AWS resources that saved approximately 40% of time in manual operations.Created a CI/CD pipeline that reduced the deployment time by 50% and improved the software quality by catching bugs earlier in the development process.Implemented monitoring and logging solutions that reduced the mean time to resolution (MTTR) by 30%.
