Leveraging my Engineer's Degree in Architectural Engineering from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (2013), and my Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Queensland's School of the Environment (2019), I've gained over ten years of experience in architecture, urban, community, and environmental sustainability across Cambodia, Australia, and the United States. Fueled by a burning passion for building a more sustainable future, these experiences led me to impactful roles like selecting sustainable cities as a Youth Jury for AIPH's World Green City Award 2024, promoting biodiversity as a Young Biodiversity Leader for ACB's ASEAN Youth Biodiversity Program, and advocating for climate action as a Climate Ambassador for the Global Youth Climate Network. I also facilitated discussions at the World Wildlife Day Regional Youth Symposium in 2023 and 2024. Through these experiences, I've honed my analytical abilities, communication and operation skills, and gained deep knowledge of environmental and climate change issues, biodiversity planning, and urban and rural development. My passion for working with young people to achieve Sustainable Development Goals has led me to initiate and be involved in many youth projects such as Future Climate Heroes, Sustainable Cities and Communities Leadership Program, Xploratory Lab for Future Cities, Borapoit Project and Sustainable Design Academy at my Founded Youth Community, Sustainable Design 11 (SD11). In 2024, I was recognized as one of twelve global winners of the UN CC:Learn Champion. This honor showcased my contributions to Urban Development and Climate Change as a Cambodian and global citizen.
