My responsibilities included order fulfillment at distribution centers and manufacturing locations of the company.

As a student ambassador, I mentored exchange students and helped them settle in to college and the new environment. I, using my own experience, guided students to adjust to the culture and way of life in Canada. I also took them to touristy spots in order to get them accustomed to the public transport.

I worked as part of a team in a fast paced environment which helped me learn the importance of customer service. I also developed a good understanding of the Canadian culture and food habits. As a fast food chain, time was the biggest constraint when delivering customer orders. Co-ordination and communication among team members was the key to do a good job.

While working for Food Hertfordshire, I was part of the hospitality team. From time to time I was also working as a barista in the cafes located in University of Hertfordshire's campus. We, as a team, were responsible to provide excellent customer service to the staff and students of the University.

Working in the packaging department of a bread manufacturing company really helped me understand the importance of quality and efficiency in supply chain. I learned a lot about the operations and equipment used in production and how attention to tiny details can improve the processes significantly.
