• Oversee aircraft serviceability, including coordinating and operating respective maintenance base activities.• Compile accurate AOG situational and status reports.• Execute long and short-term production planning for scheduled aircraft maintenance and ensure applicable people, stock, and tooling availability. • Reduce maintenance costs and understand the financial implications while staying within the approved budget. • Ensure the availability of adequate and suitable qualified and experienced staff to cover the approved scope of work and related support activities. • Identify talent within the existing workforce. • Comply with regulatory practices and standards. • Ensure the availability of tools, spares and facility requirements. • Liaise with production management, operations and field personnel to produce and sustain serviceable aircraft on time. • Monitor, manage and communicate/report on all aircraft and ground situations. • Support management and provide key insight on parts storage facilities and stock control in collaboration with the Senior Engineer or Base Parts Storeman.• Manage all field staff. • Support Senior Engineers and Line Engineers at stations of operation. • Encourage and promote Quality and Safety principles.

• Full management of daily base operations, including receiving, issuing and shipping.• Installed, inspected, tested and repaired avionics equipment and electronics, including radios, navigation systems and other control systems.
