Supervised and ensured the safe and productive operation of the fiber end of Celgar, which included the Woodroom, Chip Screening, Chip Truck Dumper, and Mill Service Department. Duties were to dispatch all mobile equipment for daily work, maintain landfill operations, railroad, roadways and sewer maintenance within the mill. Also acted to coordinate the maintenance activities, marine operations, monitor chip quality, and ensure proper chip pile management.

Worked in the Woodroom at Celgar doing various production duties. Clean up, troubleshooting production issues, operation of boom boats and various production equipment within the department. (Debarkers, Log Crane and Sorting Station)

Concrete and general labor work at the Cambie and Broadway station build on the Canada Line in Vancouver. Duties included, form stripping, skid steer operation, concrete pour support and general clean up.

Worked full time for the first 5 years as Lumber Grader at this site primarily with dimension lumber. Last 2 years was brought on as a relief supervisor in the Planer and was responsible for the day to day supervision and production of the either one of the 2 planer lines at the mill.

Worked mainly as a lumber piler and Forklift operator but also during my time was trained up and operated various other equipment within the mill such as the Chip N Saw, Edger, Trim Saws, Sorting Station, Resaw, Planer and wrapping station. Final year was grading lumber full time.
