Hello, my name is Vaughn Owens. I am currently working at Airstream Adventures as an RV Technician. Working here has made me familiar with many different systems, ranging from mechanical, electrical, and even some software, making me a well-rounded technician with my troubleshooting, critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills. Additionally, at Airstream Adventures I am our dealership's delivery specialist, which allows me to exercise my customer service skills, meaning when a guest buys a trailer I will walk through the trailer with them at the time of delivery to make sure our guest feels confident and equipped with their trailer.Previously I was working for STRATA Geotech, Inc. as a Construction Services Professional. The main duty of my job was to ensure that the work being done was held to the specifications and standards set for the task. I ensured the quality of work through the use of various testing equipment and effective communication with others from different companies to get the job done right. My time at STRATA taught me time management, professionalism, self-reliance, and how to work effectively with people of varying backgrounds.During my time working for Starbucks, I was charged with the responsibility of leading, training and managing a team of associates in a fast-paced, customer service environment. When moving up in the company I had taken up the responsibilities of tracking store inventories and ordering supplies. I also gained experience managing and tallying store profits and coordinating with outside agencies to transport the store's deposits safely.I have also gained an electrical and mechanical background while working as an audio-visual tech for California State University, Sacramento. I added to these skills while working as a shipping and receiving specialist and mechanical assembler at Autometrix. My diverse background has allowed me to experience many industries, trades, and technical fields. This has allowed me to become a jack of all trades, asset manager, and adept team leader and player.
