Working in a restaurant has made me become a very good listener, fast learner, and multitasker. When working at Dewey's, I would Manage 5 different preparation and cleaning stations including dough, topping, salad, oven, and dishwasher each day. I learned how to communicate and work with other staff in a fast-paced environment to achieve time sensitive orders. The most important part of working here was learning to independently execute cleaning and closing tasks every night preparing for the next day.

Every few days I develop and facilitate weekly activities for 10-50 students with special needs ages 8 to 21 years old. The whole TASK staff would coordinate lessons and schedules with each other preparing for each days activities offered to special needs students in the St. Louis area. I have volunteered here since May of 2021 and a few months later received a job offer to work with them. Since then I have recruited and coached 2 permanent and 12+ volunteer staff for TASK camps.
