Vaughn’s advertising career spans the entire media spectrum, from TV to outdoor, digital, radio, PR and of course, social. Vaughn's diverse thinking style has also led him towards governance roles and seen him featured in Mai Chen's Diverse Boardroom Thinking Capability Audit. His governance experience includes a large tertiary institute, an arts funding board and currently the large social services provider Lifewise.He’s also active in editorial media and is a regular columnist and contributor on TV, radio, newspapers, magazines and online. Vaughn was host of Radio Live’s “Sunday Social” show for five years, talking apps, social media and the internet, and writes regular op eds about business, technology and related areas for Stuff NZ.Vaughn is a regular and popular public speaker and executive speaker and MC trainer, and has talked to audiences in the United States, Australia, China, Tahiti and Bali as well as all corners of New Zealand.An interest in aviation that started when he was an air force pilot continues today, and Vaughn regularly takes to the air in his Piper Arrow Turbo in the name of client entertainment and business travel. He also flies a De Havilland Chipmunk and Tiger Moth at weekends with the New Zealand Warbirds Association.Vaughn has judged at Cannes, Axis, RSVP, Caples and other creative awards.In 2012 he was named one of the 25 most influential people in New Zealand business by Unlimited Magazine.
