At DEGO Systems, I work with clients as a consultant for their small to mid-size business. We help them manage their servers, workstations and mobile devices. We recommend, design and implement new solutions that help them become more productive and less dependent of a in house IT staff, all while still staying relevant in a ever changing IT world. We work with several vendors to get the lowest price and best option for their solution. Projects have included: Migrations to Office 365; Deployment of SharePoint Online; Migration of servers, websites and applications to Azure; Converting VMs from VMware to HyperV; and many others.

For MLSTG I worked with several clients and their Microsoft Server environments. We specialized in maintaining and troubleshooting their servers and workstations. Our Clients were all over the nation and most of our work is done remotely. We specialize in Microsoft's Hyper-V and cloud services such as Office 365. We were regularly adding clients to our IT maintenance programs and often needed to do projects for these clients. These projects includes anything from email transfers, server upgrades, or just a new office setup altogether.

My work includes maintaining and designing the computer network at Pro Pacific Pest Control. I handle everything from the design, purchasing, and implementation of new servers, networking and VIOP phone systems. I’ve maintained a heavy group policy and light touch deployment center (WDS) that maintains the workstations and laptops found in the domain. I’ve maintained a VMware environment that consists of 2 SANs, 2 hosts, a vCenter server, and 9 virtual servers. I was also the Scheduling Manager. I managed the department and the schedules of 30+ field technicians. This often included rearranging schedules to maintain maximum efficiency, ensuring job completion and satisfaction, and keeping constant and open communication with field technicians throughout the day.

Here I was in charge of maintaining several companies Servers and workstations. This ranged from a single Small Business Server and 10 workstations to 20+ servers and 100+ workstations. I was able to monitor and remote into computer to maintain a healthy environment and happy clients. I did several projects that included disaster recovery, VMware implantation, server upgrades, and new server environments.

I was responsible for meeting with the clients (either at the office or on-site) and discussing their needs and problems, then suggesting the recommended action to best help them. This included, but was not limited to, sales, repairs, upgrades, virus removal, data recovery, network, printer, and server configuring. I was also responsible for upkeep or the store's inventory and ordering. I had constant contact with several venders and did daily inventory checks to manage this. I quickly grew a reputation for myself and SCCS for quality service and products.

I was responsible, first and foremost, for meeting with a customer to determine their needs and recommended a computer to appease that. I handled warrantees, accessories, and software installation, including operating systems. I also troubleshot and diagnosed computers, communicated with customer about necessary repairs, and installed hardware.

My work involved accessing and bidding jobs, and performing services such as bee removals, exterminations, and repairs to damaged structures. Using Google, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PestPac, I managed calendars and route sheets, took multi-line phone calls, handled customer feedback and concerns, completed initial invoicing, arranged payment options, and worked closely with branch managers to track marketing and sales and suggest improvements. I installed and configured their server and workstations to accommodate a new program, handled basic maintenance and updates to the computers, and recommended course of action for changes that needed to be made for securities and functionality reasons.
