About Vay Facione

After many years in administrative assistant positions, the Principal I worked for recruited me for a special education teaching position. I started as a 9th/10th grade special education advisor. From there, I moved to middle school where I have worked mostly with 7th and 8th grade. In addition to special education certification, I am certified to teach secondary ELA, so I have done direct instruction as well as co-teaching. I am also certified in Journalism. I love to connect with students through the fine arts.
