As a master’s student at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, specialising in Sustainable Energy Engineering, I am passionate about integrating energy technology into community development. My interest began after the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and nuclear disaster, where I saw the vital link between resilient communities and sustainable energy.In 2021, I founded Rurio Inc., a start-up focused on regional consultancy, education, language services, and design. We aim to revitalise disaster-affected regions like Tohoku and challenge the global status quo through grassroots innovation. Under my leadership, we have secured $100,000 in grants to support our mission.Through my studies and research, I explore how energy systems operate and how engineers can apply cutting-edge technologies to achieve sustainable development, bridging the gap between technical expertise and societal needs.By combining my academic journey and entrepreneurial experience, I am shaping myself into a professional who merges sustainable energy solutions with community-building strategies, aiming to create resilient and sustainable communities worldwide.
