Starting its journey way back in 1901, the Merchants’ Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) has emerged as one of the most dynamic and front-ranking Chambers in the city of Kolkata. Being born in an environment of National Upsurge, it’s prime objective has been to provide a sense of integrity, secularity and idealism to the business community of Eastern India. The Chamber today is steadily making it’s presence felt across the country and abroad, through well-thought out, meaningful initiatives aimed at taking Indian Industry to a higher growth trajectory.Historically, the Chamber carries with it a legacy of uniting the business community in Kolkata, forming an organisation and raising its voice of concern against all sorts of injustice in the pre–independence days. It played a significant nationalist role at different times of the last 117 years of it’s existence. The Chamber has always been in the forefront of challenges faced and policy-actions taken by the emerging India, championing the cause of indigenous industry as generators of maximum wealth and employment for the millions of people in India.

MLF is the women wing of MCCI which incubates skill development CSR activities and enhancement of strategic growth for women from all sectors and walks of life.

By encouraging sharing, conducting mentoring sessions and motivate children to think deeply, we aim to help spark an excitement for discovery.

Sonali’s Cubo does vivid Soft Skills, Culinary, Speech Therapy and Life Education workbench for children and women. I have been working very closely with children over the last 15 years imparting manners and fine dining techniques with the objective of molding them into finer human beings. Besides this, I have been able to share my expertise with women and corporates, guiding them through finesse and perfection related to fine dining, networking strengths and other soft skill development activities. I have trained THE TILOTTAMA BEAUTY PAGEANT participants and have also been involved in the faculty of The Finishing School Course offered by BIRLA INSTITUTE OF FUTURISTIC STUDIES.At Sonali’s Cubo I teach child entrepreneurship modules to children with the mission of ingraining entrepreneurship spirit from a young age.In the process of working with children, the factors that intrigued me the most were their innocence, and the ability to receive knowledge and share gratitude.Hence, Sonali’s Cubo started working with philanthropic subjects with the motto ‘By Children for Children’. Children unite to raise funds for the much deserving souls.I created the first ever Pan India Summit, called The Kidoprenuer Summit. The Summit saw children under 18 years (who are already doing wholesome work in their respective fields) share their impactful journeys.

As a Founder of TTT, my area of emphasis is highlighting emotions on the table on festive occasions and more. I believe one tastes food with eyes and then through the palette. Being a table stylist is my passion and my inclination towards ravishing food presentation is something I have chosen to pursue professionally.

WICCI has been established to help bring fundamental, structural changes in the laws and incentives that are applicable to Women in business and commerce in India - so as to make Women more competitive, have easier access to funds and contribute additionally 5 Trillion USD to the Indian economy. This is possible when we as women represent our point of view with full vigor and with proper data to the various government platforms.The Skill Development Council of WICCI has the motive to enforce strategic life leadership goals and learnings into men who will be the torch bearers of the true economic development of women in India!
