Wilson Composites India LLP has seen it's biggest growth phase since 2022. Some of my responsibilities in this role have been as follows:- Leading the Indian branch of the company consisting of 25 employees in the Mumbai office and overseeing operations of more than 125 employees in the Pune factories with respect to project management, logistics, quality, cost savings and recruitment related initiatives - Functioning as the point of contact, to ensure strategic initiatives suggested by the US team, are implemented in the Mumbai office and Pune factories- Strengthening the overall company employee numbers from 30 to 150 by since early 2021, by leading the recruitment initiative, This contributed to company revenue growth from 3M USD to 8M USD from 2022 till date- Coordinating with the leaders of Engineering Design, Project Management, Production, HR and Accounts teams to ensure that company's quarterly and annual targets are met- Ensuring that all statutory compliances like licenses, certifications and registrations are adhered to along with any relevant legal matters- Pursuing new supplier development and existing supplier engagement to strengthen the production resources available to WC India

Wilson Composites India LLP grew during this phase from 5 to 60 employees, as it expanded from a single office in Mumbai to having one factory of it's own in 2020. Some of my responsibilites during this role were as follow :- Established the 1st company factory in Chakan, Pune by shortlisting various potential site options, recruiting administrative staff and workers and completing all the required documentation and compliances- Setup the first office in Mumbai for Wilson Composites India, and recruited members in the design and estimation teams to provide support to the US office- Trained quality teams at supplier locations and our company factories, to ensure that the requisite quality standards are adhered to as per US quality norms- Led project management tasks and coordinated production and shipping schedules with suppliers and freight forwarders, to ensure timely deliveries of projects to customers in USA, within their lead time- Expanded the manufacturing supplier network, beyond the state of Maharashtra to 3 other states i.e. Gujarat, Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh

I came back from USA to India as the first employee for Wilson Composites USA in India. Since the company did not have a registered Indian entity, I worked in the capacity of a consultant from 2016 to 2019.Some of my responsibilities were as follows :- Conducted quality checks at various suppliers in the Mumbai and Pune regions, as per US quality norms, which led to savings of more than 200,000 USD. The custom made produced pieces were all exported to variousc clients in the US.- Interviewed and recruited 6 design and estimation candidates to enhance the capabilities of the Mumbai team so as to enhance outsourced services to the US office- Developed 3 new suppliers in the FRP (Fiber reinforced polymer), GRC (Glass fiber reinforced concrete) and stone categories, so as to increase the production capabilities and product offerings of the company - Identified and implemented improvement initiatives with regards to project planning, cost savings, scheduling, quality control, packaging and shipping at our supplier factories

I joined Wilson Composites, LLC, USA at their office in Central, South Carolina. The company was outsourcing their manufacturing from suppliers in Mumbai, India. I was hired to carry out QC checks and conduct process improvements at vendors, and further expand the company's presence in India. I spent 4 months at their office in USA, learning about the business and products before moving back to Mumbai.Some of my tasks were as follows:- Performed quality checks on varied FRP pieces, so as to get sufficient exposure to the product- Conducted a cost analysis for projects by studying fixed and variable cost multipliers for all product types, and negotiated costs with suppliers for the same- Forecasted customer demand, and followed up with the suppliers to ensure production targets were met

This was a short term 3 month contract job. Some of my responsibilities were as follows:- Inspected, analyzed and mitigated paint defects in upper / lower window trims for the BMW X5 models by carrying out daily inspections- Documentation of work instructions for GM and BMW related QC processes

During my role as a Management consultant, I worked on projects at BMW Spartanburg, Apple & ZF Friedrichshafen.Some of the tasks completed by me were as follows :- Lead a DMAIC and Six sigma based orientation at ZF Friedrichshafen in Gray Court, South Carolina, highlighting how these concepts could be applied to departments like manufacturing and packaging- Conducted cycle time analysis at BMW's supplier IAC Spartanburg aimed at speeding up processes by 10 %- Measured iPhone and iPad performance metrics across phone networks like Verizon and AT&T, for a project at Apple, Inc in San Jose

I worked on trailer volume utilization project with data analysis performed using Excel and OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) software, at the Mahindra and Mahindra Automotive Plant, related to transporting various parts like chassis, engine, axle and transmission for the manufacture of cars. - Improved trailer utilization by 5 % using Excel analysis of data sourced from the Oracle Transport Management Software

I had the opportunity to gain valuable top management experience assisting Harsh Kumar, Mahindra Group Executive Board Member. Being part of the core strategy team was an invaluable experience.Some of my responsibilities were as follows :- Led the ‘Annual Strategy Review’ and ‘Annual Operations Review’ and facilitated in strategy formulation for the organisation. These reviews were delivered by the Managing Director of Mahindra Intertrade (now Accelo) to Mahindra & Mahindra Group Chairman, Anand Mahindra. It was a great learning experience creating these documents and attending these top management meetings- Facilitated Top Management in achieving Level 4 in the Mahindra Quality Way (TQM) annual internal audit- Prepared the Quality, Environment, Health and Safety (QEHS) document which included improving ISO 9001 and 14001 Standards adherence, Sustainability related practices and Corporate Social Responsibility activities at all 6 plant locations- Investigated the Risk Register along with the CFO and MD of the organization, to mitigate quality control, logistics, administrative and sustainability, related risks- Led the ‘Mahindra Rise’ brand rollout across the organization. Revamped the website and audio-visual with new content and branding- Served as the point of contact between the Managing Director and Plant Chiefs across 6 locations for coordinating production issues, inventory, audits and also the CSR activity targets in my capacity as the CSR 'Champion'

I worked at Cornerstone as part of the talent management team. Some of my responsibilities covered the following:- Interim Client Manager to Team India cricketer, Dinesh Karthik- Created marketing presentations for a number of sports personalities like Indian star cricketers Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, which were presented to top companies as sales pitches for endorsements- Analyzed the performance related statistics of various Indian sportsmen
