First hire to manage GTM strategy and execution with founding team

TrepCamp is a groundbreaking simulation-based training program that aims to help young students develop key entrepreneurial competencies and succeed when launching their first venture. The program was developed under the MUSEIC (Mexico-US Entrepreneurship and Innovation Council) and FOBESII (Bilateral Forum on Higher Education, Innovation and Research) bi-national initiatives, as a means to promote entrepreneurship and innovation in the region.

- Organizer of networking events to connect Latin American and US tech and investment ecosystems.- Research and content production for the meetup line-ups and production of the events for the hosted organizations from Latin America.

Created and teched the first course and incubator in Ecuador in media entrepreneurship and media startups. Coordinated the first investigation on media entrepreneurship in Ecuador in partnership with Ciespal (UNESCO). Developed the University's academic research program and processes. Organized research workshops for students and lecturers. Worked for the University's accreditation process with the Ecuadorian Government.

Ikusi received a full grant to participate in the ECLA program for Latam entrepreneurs at Columbia Business School. Responsibilities as advisor while participating at the ECLA program: Business model development, market research, processes design using the Design Thinking methodology, and growth strategy. In four months I coordinated the development of a new product for the CSR enterprise segment and we managed to close deals with companies such as Unilever and Itaú Bank.

While pursuing a PhD At the University of Navarra I taught financial markets and business journalism, media management and economics and created the first media entrepreneurship course in Spanish language and in Spain. I also created and run the first digital media incubator for students in a university setting. My research on teaching entrepreneurial journalism, media economics and media management has been published in academic journals and presented in international conferences such as the World Media Economics Conference.

Created the first course/incubator in Media Entrepreneurship in Uruguay. Taught the courses in Media Management and Advertising Strategy.
