Develop and review print, digital, and technology-enhanced math content in guided learning, practice, and assessment items designed to deliver dynamic and engaging mathematics instruction in traditional, blended, and virtual learning environments; ensure alignment to national, state, and local standards; ensure optimum performance across multiple platforms.

As curriculum facilitator, I have been charged with the task of researching and designing curricular materials aligned to the new Common Core State Standards for Mathematics for the middle and high school grade levels. I am responsible for designing and implementing quality professional development to train teachers on the new standards to be implemented.

I hold a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a Master’s Degree in Mathematics Education from the same institution. I currently hold a SPII/Class A Teaching License in Secondary Mathematics (9-12) issued by the state of North Carolina. Prior to assuming the position of Curriculum Facilitator, I taught.
