As a Software Engineer working in a fullstack environment I contribute to making SR the #1 News Destination in Sweden. Built automations for onboarding and working as a developer in the SEB Google Cloud Platform. As a team we managed a self-hosted gitlab instance for developers to work with GCP, as well as provided guidance and templates for working in the cloud. All work in GCP was through Infrastructure as Code and GitOps.Particularly proud of:- Deploying a new version of Gitlab in production of my first day, submitted my first Merge Request on my second day at work.- Reducing the onboarding time from a couple of days to less than an hour through automation and process clarification.- Building a breakglass application for temporarily working with elevated privileges in the otherwise principle of least-privilege-defined cloud environment.- Creating a monitoring service for removing long-lived credentials in the platform.- Building a template for connecting to Cloud SQL instances through Private Service Connect before it was a Google-managed feature.- Holding numerous presentations on getting started with Cloud Development, and with various different GCP services- Defining the architecture for, and implementing an MVP of a KPI web frontend application for SEBs Cloud Adoption- Building a bespoke cli tool in golang for automating tedious pipeline deployments via the Gitlab API- Creating a serverless service for monitoring prohibited cloud service usage by developer teams.DLP, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Secret Manager, IAM, Security Command Center... Master thesis on predicting CO2 emissions for trucks using machine learning models. Data pipeline and modeling in Python using frameworks such as Pandas, Matplotlib and ScikitLearn. Worked parttime as a frontend web developer in parallell to univeristy studies. At Accodeing we created an internal tech stack aimed to be fast, lightweight and modular, centered on React. I spent my time building smaller static sites using Gatsbyjs for businesses with around 2-25 employees. Created an Android app proof of concept of an excavator dashboard app. App was built in Java with Android Studio. The app integrated with an embedded bluetooth device reading CAN-bus (vehicle communication protocol) data, and so most of the efforts of the app were put into decoding and handling bluetooth communication, as well as hunting for CAN-frames.

Conducted a study on the relevance of existing computer science, computer engineering and software development educations in Sweden. Specifically by investigating the content of bachelor degrees in these fields at Chalmers, KTH, Stockholms Universitet and Linköpings Universitet, and comparing these findings to qualitative interviews with 10 employers and employees within related fields in Stockholm & Gothenburg.

Spent a summer building new features into an in-house testing software system. Built in Python, and GUI implemented with Tkinter. Studied and learned a 30k line codebase with no proper documentation. Drew an architectural overview of the system and handled a few bugs.

Teaching assistant for two semesters in the introductory C programming course IS1500. Examined student submissions and gave constructive comments on how to improve their code, also held a seminar. Was asked to come back for more semesters, and was also asked to be an assistant in functional programming, ID1019, but during that time I prioritized studies abroad and other jobs.
