About Volodymyr Bortnytskyi, Ph.D.

I am a results-oriented, creative thinker, and experienced professional with a strong academic background. Over more than 15 years in public service, I have participated in implementing reforms in the pharmaceutical market and shaping and executing public policy in the areas of international and national security, science, education, technology, innovation, healthcare, and regional development. As a project and program manager, I have led or participated in the implementation of government, international, and non-governmental programs/strategies and projects for nearly 30 years, with budgets ranging from tens of thousands to hundreds of millions of U.S. dollars. As a researcher, I am an advocate of the theory of innovative development, having proposed an approach to forming national innovation priorities for developing markets, and demonstrated the potential of applying this approach using the example of Ukraine's pharmaceutical sector. I am confident that my comprehensive approach, extensive analytical experience in decision-making support, communication experience at various levels, ability to work effectively in rapidly changing environments, and many other professional skills will contribute to accelerating victory in the war against the aggressor country, rapid recovery of the state, and the transformation of Ukraine into a democratic and prosperous country.
