• Implemented the search feature of the application through which the users would be able to search for a non-profit organization and make a donation to it.• Designed the database structure for the Portals feature that would allow airlines to promote donation of miles through Mileage.org to certain non-profit organizations.• Implemented the first iteration of the Mileage Coop, a marketplace where sellers could offer their frequent flyer miles and buyers could buy plane tickets through the offered frequent flyer miles.• Development done in: Python, Flask, Django.

• Prototyped the Compensations Feature - a feature similar to Glassdoor but for Hedge Fund positions.• Improved and optimized the Search features of SumZero, by implementing them using ElasticSearch.• Improved performance of specific areas of the application through asynchronous design.• Implemented the Weekly Buyside Email - a new feature that would engage users (through weekly emails) in the most relevant ideas on SumZero, over the past week.• Redesigned the application’s Activity Feed through a better implementation that would track more social aspects of SumZero; implemented features that would involve new users more into SumZero's community through weekly updates on their Activity Feed.• Implemented Unit (Model) and Functional (Controller) Tests for the retail side of the application using RSpec.• Development done in: Ruby, Rails.

• Chief Engineer of the Robotics Team - Organized and coordinated all the teams on the Robotics Team, by setting milestones and checking their progress (January - May 2013)• Research the JAUS architecture (LabView implementation) of the team’s current robot.• Worked on a Bioloid robot for the annual competition held at Trinity College.

• Research done on GPU programming and image restoring algorithms for medical imaging.• Implementing the Radon Transformation in CUDA C and testing its performance against other implementations.

• Redesigned the TorStatus web application and launched the new version of it at the end of the summer.• Developed the application with Django (the Python framework for web applications), MySQL, git.

• Collaborated with Professor Ralph Morelli in developing applications for Android-based phones, using the AppInventor platform.• Developed “TreeHeightCalculator”, an application for measuring the height of the trees for use in the Environmental Sciences Department; project that involves client-side (AppInventor) and server-side (Java/Python) programming.• Presented the application at the American Geophysical Union in San Francisco, California (December 2011).
