I supported hygiene services for the unhoused population in New York City during the first five months of the COVID-19 pandemic. I also built and managed a volunteer management program to support a community health center in Brooklyn with their on-site testing facility. I managed procurement and inventory of donated materials, and I designed, implemented, and trained staff on custom information management process and tools.

I lead project development and implementation efforts for the Center for Humanitarian Health, including the creation of an emergency response roster, an in-person training session, tabletop simulations, and communities of practice for partner organizations. I lead a landscape analysis of global and regional outbreak preparedness initiatives, utilizing in-person consultations and web research to gather quantitative and qualitative data. I analyzed data for several other research projects, including coordination, operational, and technical reviews of health, protection, nutrition, WASH, and food security protocols and guidelines. I also served as academic advisor for students and provided program support for all humanitarian health students.

I coordinated the advocacy efforts for the Humanitarian Representation Team, Access Campaign, and International President with the United Nations and with US government officials. I also supported logistical and administrative needs of the Medical Unit, e-Health Team, Epicentre Representative, and Program Department Director. I lead the coordination of efforts with the MSF-USA membership organization, The Association, composed of staff members active in the debate and democratic functions of the organization. In this role I coordinated the annual General Assembly for over 300 attendees, leading efforts to design the overall program of training sessions, debates, plenary sessions, and governance functions. I also lead the development of the first regional membership meeting, designed to engage members prior to the annual conference. I overhauled the membership database and oversaw the upgrade of communication tools used for broad membership messaging.

I lead the development and implementation of a live outdoor interactive exhibition designed to address global displacement crises and the challenges faced by those forced from their homes. In the first year of operation, I lead the 10,000 square foot exhibition on a six-city, two-month tour that was open for 40 days and welcomed over 21,000 guests. In this role I supervised an international team of 50 staff, aid workers, and local volunteers. I created, revised, and maintained a $2 million budget inclusive of all capital, transportation, and human resource expenses. I represented MSF and the exhibition to local authorities and participated in interviews with national and local radio and print media outlets to represent the messaging of the exhibition and the organization.

Homa Bay County, Kenya

I lead the implementation phase of several key initiatives for MSF in western Kenya while supervising a team of logistics staff, drivers, and watchmen. Collaborating with our medical and infection prevention staff, I designed the patient flow for a novel mobile Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision campaign. I worked with hydrologists and hospital staff to design and implement a new solar-powered well and water treatment and distribution network for a regional hospital, and I flexed our team resources to support response efforts for cholera outbreak.

I lead coordination efforts with local authorities, including NYPD, NYC Department of Health, and the Street Activities Permitting Office to ensure that New Year's Eve in Times Square could happen safely and on time every year. I worked with catering, confetti, pyrotechnic, and balloon vendors to ensure core components of the experience of the event had the resources needed, and I supervised the team of 20 production assistants and coordinators through the month-long production process.

I supported the coordination of project-based logistics for an emergency cholera response in Juba and Torit, South Sudan by supervising the setup and removal of two 60 bed cholera treatment centers in Juba and Torit, as well as several treatment units in the Juba, Torit, and Isoke communities. I coordinated our efforts with government ministries and UN bodies through attendance at UNMISS and Cluster meetings.
