Work as a Senior Technical Integration Engineer on Hydroelectric or synchronous condensers Plant & System turnkey projects (more than $150 M) for the North American market. Reporting to the Head of Electrical Engineering and functionally to the Project Director, the TPL is responsible for integrating and managing all 5 main engineering packages, in relation to generating unit, electrical BOP, Control & Protection, mechanical BOP and Civil engineering design. Main responsibilities:•Provide technical leadership for an engineering team of 50 peoples and located in different locations (Washington State-USA, Sorel-Tracy-QC-Can, Winnipeg- MB-Can and St-John-NFL-Can) for an engineering budget of approx. 15 M$. •Technical coordination of P&S projects including project schedule, interface with civil work, general arrangement & civil work guide drawings•Coordination of design and design interfaces between the different engineering teams: turbine, governor, generator, excitation, electrical BOP, mechanical BOP, control and protection, switchyard and civil team (civil engineering + civil contractor)•Management design and design for mechanical BOP, like: overhead travelling crane, cooling, drainage, dewatering, service air, fire protection and HVAC•Management design and design for electrical BOP, like: switchyard, generator bus duct, generator circuit breaker, MV switchgears, station service transformers and switchgears, LV switchgears, heating, emergency generator, batteries and chargers, etc.•Managing and planning of engineering resources in Plant Integration Project•Controlling and follow-up engineering activities in the project•Stimulate and induce technical discussions and coordination between the different engineers, consultants, client engineers and site activities•Make the bridge between the project engineering team and customer direct reporting to the project manager.
