My name is Victor Gabriel, I'm 21 years old and I've been a UX/UI Designer for 4 years. I've always admired design work as a whole, so much so that I've worked in various branches of the field. In 2020 I had already mastered Figma and was invited to join a company's User Experience Design department, where I improved my skills in the area and learned the importance of practicing user research. Today I'm passionate about my work and I do my utmost to be my best and teach everyone what I've learned along the way.UX DesignCarrying out user research; understanding user challenges and motivations; capturing product needs and functions; developing possible solutions to problems based on research; and carrying out usability tests to validate or not the proposed solutions. I always kept in touch and carried out research with users and stakeholders.As a result, I honed and learned the following skills: creating personas; empathy maps; user journeys; listening to people (users and stakeholders); understanding user challenges and motivations; defining the product's scenario, functionality, context and limitations; product usability testing; experience gained with Nielsen's Heuristics, basic usability principles and pillars; A/B testing; notions and knowledge of accessibility.UI DesignDuring the course of my work, I have been required to develop various skills and abilities in interface design, which has allowed me to hone my skills in the area.I have absolute mastery of the Figma tool for interface creation and low/medium/high fidelity prototyping, from layout to defining interactions and transitions within the navigable prototype, applying Nielsen's Heuristics, principles, pillars and basic laws of usability; creation of a structured and hierarchical design, following organizational flows and the laws of Gestalt; definition of the color palette (color psychology), formats, typography, alignment patterns, visual and aesthetic details; practical application of accessibility, following color and size contrasts. In addition, I plan and create Style Guides and assist in the development of a Design System, designing and creating components, all while working on mobile and web projects (responsive), also applying the mobile first concept.
