Sr. Human Resources Generalist
CurrentConsulting services, working collectively with leadership, and responsible for overseeing multiple human resource functions for large and small businesses throughout the United States. Always forward-thinking, technology-driven, and ready to adapt and improve processes as needed. • Drive the development and implementation of HR initiatives/special projects and systems, to continuously improve HR operations and support company growth. • Counsel employees and managers on policies and procedures. • Ensure compliance with labor regulations, most importantly union regulations. • Review employment and working conditions continuously to ensure legal compliance; maintain Employee Handbook. • Coordinate and manage HR event calendar for various leadership, union, and program meetings. • Responsible for termination processing, to include investigations and exit interviews. • Broad knowledge of human resources functions, from hiring to onboarding and from employee compensation to evaluation. • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise. • Monitor workers’ compensation claims. • Align employee matters with policy and procedures, payroll, time keeping systems and HR informational systems (HRIS). • Comprehensive technical knowledge of HR-related issues and how legal issues apply to the organization and employees.
